Global Air Quality Campaign

During this term TY Geography students participated in a Global campaign to measure Air Quality. Globe is an international Environmental and Science Education program that is sponsored by NASA.

In Ireland, the GLOBE programme is run by the Environmental Education Unit of An Taisce and is sponsored by the Irish Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Students placed diffusion tubes in three locations around the school. The tubes will measure the Nitrogen Dioxide in the air around the school. The tubes have been posted and we await the results!
