East Leinster XC Championships; Salle Take Gold!

Well done to the eight Second Year and TY students who took part in the East Leinster Cross-Country Championships in Rathdrum last week. They braved some very tough conditions for their first XC race. Particular congratulations to the Junior Boys team who took the gold medal in their race (Daniel McDermott 1st, Luke Nolan 2nd, Gerard McTague 4th, Rian Torres 15th). 

The intermediate team faced a tough race in the A grade with Paul O' Donnell, a regular at the Marley Park Run, the first man back for his team. Huge thanks to Ms Jordan and Ms Byrne for getting the boys there and back again safely!

Next up is the East Leinster Track and Field Championships which will take place in Irishtown Stadium in April. Training takes place every Tuesday after school. Meet in sports hall at 4.15pm. All welcome!!!
