Athletics - Cross Country season begins

START OF XC SEASON
Well done to the five students who competed in the first cross-county race of the season last Wednesday, 7th October in Santry Demise.
Saad Mohammed and Guillermo (3rd year) represented the college in the Junior category in their first ever cross-county race. Gerard MacTague (TY) put a very strong performance as usual in the Intermediate race. Finally Mark O' Leary and Paul O' Donnell (6th year) raced Senior, with Paul placing 4th in a very fast 5,000m race.
Anyone interested in Athletics should contact Ms Lowry or Ms Byrne, or come along to train every Tuesday after school!
